Fire Safe Councils are grassroots, community-led organizations that aim to help residents protect their homes, neighborhoods, and natural surroundings from catastrophic wildfire. At this early stage, our council is focused on serving as an information and resource hub for local residents. While many Fire Safe Councils eventually grow to mobilize projects and community action, we’re a new, developing organization, so our primary role is to share information, connect neighbors with resources, and build community awareness as we grow.
